Arrow of Light Camp - Early Registration

Packs can "Be Prepared" by registering during the Early Registration phase, this gives families the ability to plan their summer around the Pack's Arrow of Light Camp date.

What is Early Registration?

Early Registration allows Packs to reserve a weekend for the following summer camp with a $100 deposit. This allows Packs to reserve space and get their 2026 Arrow of Light Camp date on the Calendar before Fall Recruitment. 

At the time of registration Packs enter their estimated attendance for youth and adults, up to 20 total spots (10 youth and 10 adults). Please note that this is just an estimate, and Packs will be able to increase or reduce their number during the adjustment period in February. 

Payment Timeline for 2026:

June 1st, 2025 - January 31st, 2026: Early Registration  

  • Packs reserve a weekend with a $100 deposit. 

    • Packs enter their estimated attendance for youth and adults, up to 20 spots. 

    • If Packs need more than 20 spots, they can create an additional reservation, and our customer service team will merge the reservations prior to the adjustment period. 

    • Note: this is just an estimate, Packs will be able to reduce or increase their number of all attendees during the adjustment period (February 9th – 23rd, 2026). 

February 9th – 23rd, 2026: Adjustment Period 

  • Packs confirm their participant counts by making a $25 deposit for each individual.  

  • The original $100 payment will be allocated towards the final deposit total.  

  • Packs will also be able to reserve Outpost spots at this time for $36 per spot

  • Packs may use Parent Portal at this time to allow parents to individually pay the $25/spot deposit.  

  • Note: This is the only time you will be able to reduce your registration of individuals without financial penalty. However, canceling the entire registration will result in the loss of the $100 deposit.  

March 1st - April 30th, 2026: Regular Registration  

  • A deposit of $25 per individual is due when making a new camp registration. 

  • Packs registering additional individuals for Outpost will need to pay an additional $36 per person  fee. 

  • Packs/Individuals who pay in full before May 1st will receive the $5 per youth  Early Bird Discount

May 1st - August 30th, 2026: Full Payment is Due 

  • Full payments for all existing reservations are due before May 1st. If balances are not paid on this date, customer service will cancel the registrations accordingly.  

  • Full Payment will be collected at the time of registration for all new registrations made after April 30th.  

  • Packs may make a registration up to the day before a campout takes places provided that there is space available

FAQ:

  • What if I need more than 10 youth spots, but less than the 10 adult spots?
    • During the adjustment period you will be able to change the registrant type.
    • For example, if you need 12 youth spots and 8 adult spots, you will be able to reserve 10 youth spots and 10 adult spots, then change 2 of the adult spots to youth during the adjustment period.
  • What if I need more than 20 spots for my Pack?
    • Create an additional registration and pay an additional $100 registration deposit for 20 more spots. Customer Service will then merge your registrations so you only need to manage one registration.
  • What if I need to reduce my numbers?
    • During the adjustment period in February, you will be able to reduce or increase your spots. 
    • You can reduce your estimated numbers before the adjustment period by contacting Customer Service. However, removed spots are no longer held by you and may be claimed by other Packs. 
  • What happens if I cancel my entire registration before or during the adjustment period? 
    • Canceling the entire registration will result in the loss of the $100 deposit.
  • What if I need to reduce my numbers after the adjustment period?
    • All reductions and cancellations after the adjustment period will result in the loss of the $25 deposit.
