BB Gun Shooting

BB Gun Shooting

Practice Your Marksmanship

Youth participants (and most adults, though they won't admit it right away) love to shoot stuff at stuff with stuff. Our camps provide BB gun ranges and BB gun equipment to help you provide this opportunity to your group.

Who can shoot at our ranges?

BB gun shooting is available to Kindergarten age and above. Parents are encouraged to participate on their own or alongside their youth participant.

What is the cost?

Renting a range is only $1 per person for a two hour time period.

When can we shoot?

BB guns shooting is available year round. Winter availability is different for each facility due to accessbility of some ranges.

How do we reserve a range?

When making your weekend camping reservation, you can book a BB gun range. They are reserved in two hour time slots on Saturday and Sunday morning.

Training Required

All BB gun programs require a BB Gun Rangemaster to supervise the group shoot. Your group will need to have an adult with this training to operate a range. Campmasters will request proof of certification when you check-in at camp. BB Gun Rangemaster trainings are available to Scouting leaders and are offered in the spring and fall by the Shooting Sports Committee.
