Everyone Loves a Campfire

A toasty campfire is often the focus of any campout. It provides a place for cooking, sharing stories and doing skits all while spending time with friends and family in the great outdoors.

WHO CAN HAVE A CAMPFIRE?

Anyone, with adult supervision. Should you need assistance in obtaining supplies or getting your campfire started, please touch base with the onsite Ranger or Camp Master.

DO WE NEED TO PURCHASE WOOD?

Firewood is available at our properties for free! You can collect any wood that is dead and on the ground, we ask that you respect our living trees and do not cut them down or take branches off! Help us protect our trees by not transporting wood into our camps.

ONLY YOU CAN PREVENT FOREST FIRES!

All eight of our camp properties have campfire sites. We do ask you to follow the Outdoor Code, Guide to Safe Scouting and the principles of Leave No Trace and Tread Lightly when building, starting, enjoying and then extinguishing all fires.
