Tubing and Sledding
A Snowy Activity
Winter
isn't a time to sit inside. Dig out your boots and snow pants, and head
out to camp for some classic winter fun! Our camps have both tubes and
sleds for you to use - or bring your own and put it to the test on our
well kept hills!
Who can join in on the fun?
The hill is open to kids and adults of all ages!
Do we need to buy a lift ticket?
The
tubing/sledding hill is included in your weekend reservation fee. If
you'd like to come to camp and use the hill just for the day it
will cost $3 per person.
When is the tubing and sledding hill open?
Typically
our hills are open from January through early March - but it all
depends on when we have snow on the ground. The hill is closed each
weekend January - February for Polar Cubs at Phillippo and Rum River
(9 a.m. - 3 p.m.). Interested in doing an evening activity? No problem! The
tubing and sledding hill can remain open even after the sun goes
down.
How do we sign up to use the hill?
You can
reserve the hill on the weekend reservation site at the same time you
make your building reservation! If you get to camp and decide that you
would like to add it as an activity - just check in with the Camp
Master or Ranger and they can let you know what the availability is and
get you set up with a time!
